We were not planning on adding another doe to our herd, but when we saw Present, that is just what she was a beautiful present to our Mamm-Key herd. She is a pretty package with a beautiful gift inside. Her grand dam Brie (06-03 94 EEEE) is already well known for her top ten awards 5 years in a row, 4 of those being 5000 pound lactations. Present's dam, Posh (04-02 93 EEEE) has two 5000 pound lactations earning top-ten 2 years in a row. Present's grand dam Pearl (06-02 91 EEEE) has also earned top-ten 4 times. Present has a beautiful level rump and top line. She is loaded with dairy strength with her length and flatness of bone. She has a nice long neck. She is a long tall doe. She is as sweet as they get. We are truly lucky to have her. Present was attacked by a dog and was put on antibiotics for 30 days and it appears that this has damaged her rumen flora and her production. Because she can not digest like she needs, I feel she is not at her full potential. She is a beautiful doe.
