We are very happy to have this Sailor come sail with us. Sailor is not a big buck at this time in his life. He is like his dam in that he loves people. He is the sweetest little boy. He is so darn cute anyway. Sailor is very level on the top line. He has good strong bone and still exhibits dairy character, with open flat ribs. He has a deep angular body. He tracks pretty straight, which is great for an Alpine buck. He could us a little more flatness in the shoulder blade. His kids have shown good size and good general appearance. We won’t see any udders until 2012. His dam has a lifetime average of 1006 days with 12210 pounds of milk. That’s pretty good. Her udder was supported and well attached with a very smooth fore udder and a high rear udder. With Tokay being a National Champion, with a capacious, high wide rear & smooth extended fore udder, we are really hoping for some great milk & mammaries from this beautiful buck.
