We are very happy to have this Sailor come sail with us. Sailor is not a big buck at this time in life. He is like his dam in that he loves people. He is the sweetest little boy. He is so darn cut anyway and to get hugs from him is wonderful. Next year that will change when is too smelly to want to hug. Sailor is very level on the top line. He appears to have good strong bone, yet still has the dairy character. He has very good rear legs and front legs and tracks pretty straight, which is great for an Alpine buck. He has deep heels and tight toes at this age. He could us a little more flatness in the shoulder blade, but all in all he is very good in most categories and we can’t wait to see his kids. His dam has a lifetime average of 1006 days with 12210 pounds of milk. That’s pretty good. We are really hoping for some great milk from him. We will be keeping doelings from Poet and Feather. Feather bucklings will be available or a second doeling.
