Needles’ dam, Piney milked as a first freshener at age 2, 197 days with 1700 pounds of milk. Which sounds pretty normal, until you hear that Piney freshened with one side damaged. This record is with one side functioning fully. Because we could not show Piney we decided to keep her daughter ,Needles and let our beautiful and friendly Piney go. Needles has one of the widest escutcheons in the dry does. She is also one of the widest does with strength through out. With this strength she still has dairy character. She is one of the most open ribbed yearlings. Needles is excellent or very good in all structural categories. With rear legs, back and rump being some of her best qualities. She is very level with correct rear leg set. Needles is also a joy to have around and easy to work with. Her sire, Thingy is our dairy buck with many top-ten in his pedigree.
